Its crazy amazing just how fast time has been flying by these past few weeks. Its not that I havent wanted to blog, or haven’t thought about it, its just that I didn’t realize so much time had passed since I last posted anything. Funny how that works – just Tuesday I was contemplating how “Monday was just yesterday, yet tomorrow the week will be over.”
And look here! The week is now over! Another week, I should say.
Earlier today as we were driving home I was contemplating fall. I absolutely hate fall. I was going over all the many reasons WHY I hate fall, and finally decided the biggest reason I hate it is because the lack of color. Atleast here when fall comes everything just turns an ugly shade of yellow or brown. I have seen pictures of fall in other places where there are bright reds and oranges but here, there is a grey backdrop, rain, and soggy dead leaves. Such a contrast from our green summers. I was writing a post in my head about the lack of color in fall – when we rounded the corner and saw the biggest rainbow I have ever seen. Literally, right in front of us.
It was pretty amazing.
And a much needed reminder on this dreary day.
Hope you have a fun filled, happy weekend!
“When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you dont throw away your ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.”
“Am I so arrogant to believe that the only things that cant be true are those things that make sense to me?”
Nature at its best – Thanks for sharing the rainbow!
Have a great weekend 🙂
Wow!! Pretty! Nice to see that! Almost like God gave YOU a pretty rainbow of colors! Lucky!
Hah, So there isn’t any treasure at the end of a rainbow?! Was I fooled by cartoons and books when I was little? Or maybe the treasure is under the water! 😉
But GREAT photo!! Very nice! Thanks for sharing both the photos and the quotes.
Have a nice week! 🙂
I think the treasure just MIGHT have been at the other end (or maybe it was the rainbow itself?) 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
