Crazy enough, this week I spent a little bit of time in the kitchen. Something I hardly ever do. I knew this weeks capture was “In the Kitchen” but found it funny that I was actually IN the kitchen this week, and not just because of this weeks capture.
It started off low keyed…with my sister and I having a bit (too much) fun with “Bob” the tomato and “Larry” the cucumber.
My family LOVES them some avocado. But we never could figure out how to get it cut without turning it into guacamole in the end. Then one day I happened to be walking through the living room where my mom was watching a cooking show – where the guy showed how to cut an avocado. I laughed. Then tried it the next time, and lo and behold it WORKED:
Then I made cheesecake, which was, Oh. Um. Good.

Then if that wasnt enough for the week, someone gave us some fresh crab!

I love avocados with just a little salt on them. Yum! The cheesecake doesn’t seem bad either. 🙂
