I don’t want summer to end.  Really, I don’t.

This year has just been, awesome.  I don’t really know why.  It hasn’t been the best of years, but the sunny days have made it so nice, that I just dont want it to end.

Today was just, one of those days.

We had church service out at the lake, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  After we all took off for the ocean.  We brought Parker with us, so that made it a little more fun.  The lake was warm, and the sun was out, and it was, well…perfect.

I didn’t take too many pictures because I was busy getting wet with Parker and Amanda.

Parker is usually scared of the water, but he wanted to go out with us, so we carried him out, and he told us where to go.  He rode on a “Giant donut” and even tried out a life jacket.  Amanda took him on a kayak ride, and then her and I doubled up and went…in circles.

We took him on a canoe ride, and ate watermelon.

We tried teaching him to swim, but basically just rode around in the “Giant donut” splashing and laughing.

He would reach out to the other kids and say “Help us abandon ship!”

It was really a great time.

I just don’t want Summer to end, I want more days like these.  More sun, more fun…

Watermelon
