This weeks “You Capture” is vehicles. I almost laughed when I saw it – because vehicles? Im surrounded by them. My dads business, where we spend all of our time, is auto repair. So there isnt a shortage of vehicles around here.
But, the ones in the lot seemed sort of boring to me. And I really didnt want to go out and take random pictures of customers vehicles.
But then a customer called – and needed me to take a picture of her car. Or, rather, a dent in her car for insurance purposes. And I figured now was as good of time as any. Plus? Her car? Is a jaguar.
So I snapped a few pictures and figured these looked much better than some random dent…you would think the insurance would appreciate this!
The sky in this one makes this look kind of creepy I think.
This would have been a neat picture – if it werent for my reflection!
Earlier this week, A friend stopped out with his Harley. And no, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to take pictures of this.
Again, hello to my mom and I’s reflection! (Im not used to taking pictures of shiny stuff!!)
All the stories we have heard about these bikes are that they randomly tip over on you. He was nice enough to give it the extra support so it wouldnt tip over randomly – even though he said it wouldnt. Also? Vehicles in the back ground…see what I mean?
Slim is our shy dog. Even though you couldnt tell from this picture. She was all ok with the situation – the bike, the person (shes extremely shy around people) until he put his helmet on, and started the bike. Then it was a different story!
Also: My sister and I are going to be taking a group of junior high girls (and one boy) on the ferry in a few weeks. Anyone know of any games/activities that we could do/bring to entertain them for a few days? Besides, that is, seeing who can go overboard first?
