Happy Mothers Day to my mom.

Originally, I was going to write some long rant about how much mom means to me, but the more I tried, the more I failed to adequately sum up just how much she means to me (and my sister, and everyone else too!).  So I decided that instead of sticking my foot in my mouth I would just say this:

I love you mom, and Happy Mothers Day!

I know that everyone out there is probably going to do something for their moms too, because lets face it, anyone who has a space in the internet worlds wants everyone to know just how great their moms are!  But I have to say this, I know my moms the best…because she puts up with me.

Love you mostest, mom!

P.S – Im your favorite!  🙂

I didnt get any very good pictures this week, because wouldnt you know?  It rained pretty much all week.  But thats “Spring” for you!  After a week like last week – we had to have to rain to make up for it.

Skunk Cabbage means winter is officially over and Spring is heading in.

No idea what these are.  I call them “Baby Shrimp” but I think they are fish of some sort.  They show up every Spring down by the ocean for a few weeks – and drive the dogs CRAZY!

Not the best picture, but look!  New little buds…!

And of course, Crocus!

What says Spring to you?

And just for fun, I have Spring ’10 and Spring ’11

Happy Birthday Christina! ♪♫ ♪ ♪♫

Christina, aka Chir, the author of this blog,  is 22 years old today!

As her sister, and official unofficial spokesperson for everyone, I’d like to take this opportunity to say… “Save me some of that cake!”  and also “Happy Birthday to you.”

“Birthdays are great….statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.”

Christina and I were wondering what we were up to a year ago, and for the life of us we couldnt remember. We had to look back at our emails to see what was happening.  Do you ever get to the end of a year and think ”WHAT was last year all about?”

Well, it was quite a year, in fact, as our lil friend Parker would say “It’s been a whole year since last year!” so now it’s springtime, and spring means one thing: that it’s time for Christina’s birthday. I’m sad that I cant be there, and that I’m missing out on the cupcakes. I’ll have to make some here too.

Anyways, Happy Birthday Chir!!  To you and your blog from all of us!

Look I made you a cake 🙂

What is your favorite thing about birthdays?
