How travelers learn to love.
Your heart is scrappy:
There are bits of your heart all over the world: in places, in people; in waves and in sunsets. You understand the beauty of loving big, loving wide, and loving often.
Travel has shown you the different forms of love in the world.
Love doesn’t only come in the form of romantic love. You have fallen in love with monuments, and landscapes; oceans and starlit skies. You have fallen in love with words, and language, and tiny touches of fingertips.
I read this somewhere, a long time ago. I liked it, so I pulled it out and put it down in a notebook with no name attached. Since then, I have pulled it out and looked at it from time to time…and each time I read it, I can’t help but like it -all over again.
Somewhere between the scrappy heart and loving to roam and travel -somewhere between this side of the world and the other -travel is complicated, confusing and frustrating at times, but oh…it is amazing…and I can’t help but fall in love with new places, foreign languages and new experiences. Over and over and over again.
You are awesome!!
Thank you for your stories
Your beautiful pictures.
I want to travel but I am
Afraid. But after reading
Your stories maybe I will.
I wish I can be a travel photographer someday..like you.
