Today we got up early in anticipation for a ‘long drive’ -heading into Northern Ireland.  We were thinking it was going to take us about four hours, so we got up and took off.  Surprisingly, it only took us about two hours.  I guess that is what happens when you take highways (or motorways!) instead of cow trails (or secondary roads, as they call them here!) – we were happy to get in a bit early.

We spent a good bit of time walking around the Giant’s Causeway, then took off to where we are staying the night in Cushendall.

Oh, Ireland.  Why do you have to be so beautiful?

Absolutely breath taking. I had the good fortune to live & work in North Wales for about a year in the mid 1970s. The Emerald Isle and (Northern) Wales are sanctioned by a magical aura reflecting their Celtic and Druid history. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comment, Brian. There is no doubt, some beautiful country out there!
