I thought that instead of filling this post up with random words like I am already doing, I would take the theme to the extreme – this weeks You Capture is Halloween/Silence. I went with Silence, since we didnt do Halloween this year.
Silence:
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” – Psalm 46:10
“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.” – Psalm 62:5
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” “…a time to be silent and a time to speak” – Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. – Psalm 62:1
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! – Psalm 37:7
My favorite is the picture of the leaf left on the branch against the gray sky. So very pretty.
Great sky shots!
Gorgeous photos and wonderful versus.
There is something to be said about the beauty of silence. Gorgeous shots, I especially love the first tree/leaf shot.
The 3rd photo down is my favorite, hands down! What an interesting and unique interpretation of silence.
Love these shots, and these verses!
I love the last photo! The contrast with the perfectly focused leaf with the grey sky is so lovely!
YOU get such cool shots, I am jealous, why cant I think as good as you?? I cant write or take pics or…ANYTHING lately, I think my mind is full of things n stuff and not just still and focused on God, only fears, a lot of the time. Not to have a spirit of fear!!!! Thanks for this cool post…U R awesome. 😀
