God Bless America
July 4, 2010
If tomorrow all the things were gone
I’d worked for all my life
and I had to start again
With just my children and my wife
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today
Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today.
Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land.
God bless the U. S. A.
From the lakes of Minnisota
To the hills of Tennesse
Across the plains of Texas
From sea to shinning sea
From Detroit down to Houston
From New York to L. A.
There’s a pride in every American heart
And it’s time we stand and say
And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today.
Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land.
God bless the U. S. A.
And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today.
Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land.
God bless the U. S. A.
Great shots! Neat perspectives on the flag 🙂

Love the second and third shots! That is my favorite “America” song too! Have you heard the 9/11 tribute version? Very sad and touching.
These are awesome pictures!
oh you have one amazing lens!!
Such a beautiful post in every way. It’s obvious that you’re truly a photographer because all your pictures are stunning. And I love how you put the lyrics in. With two sons in the Army, your post choked me up. Very very beautiful!
I love all of the different angles on the flag. Great photos!
Beautiful! And so creative. Especially love that first shot.

I am so proud and honored to be an American.
